Well back from Grands. I am so glad that drive just kills. Got home 11 pm last night and boy am I tired. I raced well for the ROC and won that title. Didn't race my best for Grands and took a second. But with that I defended my title. So now I just have to wait and see what National # I will get. Thank you to all my sponsors and my team, Team Inseino.

Well the worlds has been and gone and I came out on top. It was a lot of fun especially because my family and a lot of my bmx friends were there. Was very exciting to watch them all. The track was great. The starting hill very big and intimidating. The first time I went up I just went OMG. I rolled a few times just to see what it would do. You got air even when you didn't want it. But I got more used to it after a while and tried to go faster every time I went. The track itself was pretty good and I got good speed. The rythem was a different story. Well it is always the same actually. There are always a couple of steep once in the mix that brake your flow. As always lots of crashes there. But I figured it out quickly. I was a bid nervous this time.
So Sunday came around and I checked motos. Had easy motos. Won all 3 rounds but I knew my main competition was in the other moto. She had 1 and I had 5 in the main. She got me out of the gate but I got her before the first turn. She had the inside so she came out ahead. Picked her up on the second straight, but I didn't shut the door on her so she got me back out of the turn. My rythem was great and I flew by her. Was ahead out of the turn but missed a couple of paddles. She got close but not close enough. Everyone was very excited. Of course I was. It was a great race with lots of action.

Bakersfield sucked

Well it has been a week since the Bakersfield National and I am still pissed. The track was fine but it was one of these tracks that if you had an inside gate you had the advantage. Especially if the riders skills were pretty equal. The gate was flat and I ride with a pretty high gear. So my gates weren't the best but I have the power. I wasn't worried if I was behind one rider but two is a different story. Sat I got gate 8 and my main competition was in 5 and 2. So I was third in the turn but got momentum to move. Then I got blocked and had to pull the brake. Killed momentum. Got speed back up in the rythum section and made my move in the turn to pass one which slowed me down and another rider past to get second and I still ended up third. Sunday was stupid. Guess what gate I got !! Seven. the other two riders got 1 and 2. Every time I was on the inside I beat both of them. Well I just went into it got great momentum and was making my move on the outside. I was just going to pass one rider but I caught the lip of the double and made myself crash. I am still mad at myself. Then someone told me that one of the riders, who doesn't like me , was at the finishing line laughing at me crashing. What a bad sport. All I have to say is fuel to the fire. I am working out much harder and will be so ready next time we all meet. Nothing is going to stop me now.

Last TKD test before my black belt test

I had my last test last night. Things went pretty good. My master pushed us pretty hard with endurance and such. I was so sweaty. But we don't really get a drink break. I did well with my forms and breaking technique. The only thing I wasn't quite happy with was my self defense. I just learned it not to long ago and the form on that is not a 100% yet. But now I have time to get ready for the black belt test.
But for now I am going to concentrate on going to the BMX worlds in July. Got to get on my bike. Plus I am already training pretty hard in the gym.
Keep on training. Oh yes next weekend is Nationals in Bakersfield.

Well Lake Perris wasn't a great race. First of all it was cold and it rained a lot. Then I had to race younger girls, which I don't mind but when the age difference is 18 years that is a bit to much for my liking. I took a second on Sat which was fine. I was fighting to get into first and had all my speed up and I was gaining. And then i bonked and that was that.
Sunday I was in second and doing just fine when the much younger rider swooped down on me in the last turn and took me out. Bad luck I get that but can't you just wait for me at the finish to make sure I am O.K.? Where is the sportsmanship. Anyway just gonna get training harder and be ready next time.

Season beginning in BMX on a good note

Hi all,

just got back from Reno and boy am I tired. It hasn't even been a week since I have come back from Germany. And I am not over my jetlag yet.
Well Team Inseino ( my team )went FActory in Reno. We did pretty good. I am very proud of my team. Personally I won both days but didn't race my best. My gates were of on Sunday and I had to come from behind to win. But that was experience getting for me. Told me I can do anything. By the time mains came around on Sunday though I was done. I was tired my legs were tired and all I wanted to do is go to sleep. So I couldn't quite make the come from behind in mains, but only missed by about half a wheel length. Was a great try though. Since it was the best out of three I still got the win.
Well it is back to training. Got to start back with TKD as well. It has been a month since I have done anything.

Finally candidate belt IN TKD

Well I got my candidate belt and now it is just repeating and going over everything I have learned so far. It will take about another year before I will test for black belt. But the end is in sight. So my year is ending well I am healthy and no injuries. I am on top of my game in BMX and starting of the new season in the beginning of January.

I am going for my test tomorrow night. I have trained hard and should be good to go. As long as I don't forget my questions and answers I should be good. I will find out next week Thurs how it went. I will keep you updated. I am ready to take a little break over the xmas break. I am taking 2 weeks of and going to Germany to see my parents. Should be nice and cold. Hopefully it will snow.

Grands racing

Well just got back from Tulsa I raced pretty good. At the ROC final I was very nervous and didn't have a great start and didn't ride my best but still ended up winning in the end. At the Grands I felt better and my racing was better and I qualified first rounds. Then the waiting began and I didn't have to race again until the next day until about 4 pm. I do hate the waiting. But I got it done and won. And with that I got my Nag 1 plate back. Here is a good end to a good season. Our team got Number 3 in trophy team. Not bad at all.

I think I am ready. I have been training but not riding as much as I wanted to but hopefully all the gym work will pay of. It will be long drive there.We should be having fun once we get there. Will let you know what happens when I get back.

Finally,

after a long wait I finally got the go ahead to go to the BMX Worlds in Victoria BC. I am so excited.

The Worlds will be from July 27th through the 29th and I will be racing on the 29th. S0 wish me Luck and I will keep you posted.

coming back from injury

Well it has been 2 months since the Reno Nationals and my crash. My knee got pretty messed up and is still healing. I am also still feeling the effects of my crashes in Alburquerque in October. Which of course does not help my training schedule but you can't keep me down for long.

I went to the NBL Nationals in Boulder a couple of weeks ago and I won both days. So I am getting better.
