It was an awesome season in </span></span></span><st1:state><st1:place></st1:place></st1:state><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><st1:state><st1:place><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">Michigan</span></span></st1:place></st1:state><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;"> for riding and racing. Our first year trying to race D14 proved tougher and more expensive than anticipated. Some attempts to race ended in major breakdowns during practice. Even though Robby was working his way up in the ranks as a 65cc rider, we decided to move him up to a KX 85 after trying a friend&rsquo;s 85. </span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><o:p><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">&nbsp;</span></span></span></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">This appears to be a good move. Robby is rapidly gaining skills and appears more comfortable with his KX85, espically after modifying the suspension to match his weight and riding style. Robby has mastered basic skills such as clutch control and body position in hole shots and turns. Robby is clearing more jumps but we are focusing on technique and speed over air. </span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><o:p><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">&nbsp;</span></span></span></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">Robby hopes to make his first AMA race on his KX85 at the Monster Mash race at Baja Acres. </span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><o:p><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">&nbsp;</span></span></span></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">Many thanks to: </span></span></span><o:p><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">&nbsp;</span></span></span></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-N Focus Photography</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-FMF</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-Boyesen</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-Excel</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-Dunlop</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 255, 0);"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">-Panolin</span></span></span></p> <meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type"> <meta content="Word.Document" name="ProgId"> <meta content="Microsoft Word 10" name="Generator"> <meta content="Microsoft Word 10" name="Originator"> <link href="file:///C:%5CDOCUME%7E1%5CBOB%5CLOCALS%7E1%5CTemp%5Cmsohtml1%5C01%5Cclip_filelist.xml" rel="File-List" /><o:smarttagtype name="State" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype name="place" namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"></o:smarttagtype><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:ApplyBreakingRules/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]><object classid="clsid:38481807-CA0E-42D2-BF39-B33AF135CC4D" id=ieooui></object> <style> st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } </style> <![endif]--><style type="text/css"> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} </style> <![endif]--> <br /></meta></meta></meta></meta>http://www.loopd.com/members/bob911/blog.aspx?resourceId=b8e95c5f-5dd9-4842-b516-8bf21a3625d3Sat, 13 Sep 2008 11:34:29 GMTNote for potential sponsors <p align="center"><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#339966" size="3">As a sponsored rider I cannot promise any first place or even podium finishes, I can promise clean racing and a commitment to the sport. I arrive early, walk the track and set up shop. I am prepared to race before the first practice; I participate in every pre race practice rain or shine as long as the track is open and am usually the last to leave after the race. </font></p> <p align="center"><font face="Comic Sans MS" color="#339966" size="3">I realize that your goal is to promote your product and that your sponsored riders are a reflection of your business. Because we run a neat, organized pit area and keep our bike and equipment immaculate, others often come to us, for little extras like main jets, inner tubes fuel but mostly just to talk.&nbsp;My crew and I&nbsp;are happy to help other racers whenever we can, therefore I believe we would portray an image consistent with your great name. Along with the usual stickers and banners displayed neatly on the bike and trailer, we would be happy to discuss the benefits and applications of your product line with other racers both new and experienced. Current sponsors: FMF (pending contract) Thank you for considering me.</font> </p> <p>Visit <a href="http://www.myspace.com/robby825">http://www.myspace.com/robby825</a></p> <p>Robby Nemeth. </p>http://www.loopd.com/members/bob911/blog.aspx?resourceId=b066f90e-d294-448d-aa51-8d8919011233Fri, 23 Nov 2007 11:55:02 GMT
