How to Create a New Page

Creating a brand new page is easy with the Community Tools.

Go to Community > Community Tools > Pages and click on 'Add Page'
Enter the Page Name
Select the Page Template you would like to use from the dropdown - the layout will be displayed in a thumbnail
If you would like the page to show up in the navigation, uncheck 'Hide from Navigation'
Enter a Navigation Title if you would like visitors to see a different navigation name then the page name
If you have custom CSS you would like to apply specifically to your new page, enter the class name
For Search Engine Optimization, you can update the Page Title and Description that the search engines will see.

Click on Save and your page will be added. You can then go directly to your new page and start adding modules to it.

TIP: If you are adding a page to a live community, you should Hide it from navigation until it is complete.

How to Add a Header / Footer for Your Community

With the new community tools, adding and editing your Header and Footer is pretty straightforward. To get to your header, go to Community > Site Tools > Design and go to the Header section. The WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) editor allows you to upload images and formate html. You can also click on the 'Source' button if you want to paste or write html code directly.

Here are some tips before you get started:

- If you have images you'd like to use in your header, upload them first. You can upload them directly into the 'Photos' section of your Loop'd account or you can host the images on an external FTP or photo hosting site like Flickr. Regardless of where the images are stored, you'll want to grab the URL.

- If you are using straight html or an html editor (like Dreamweaver) to create your header, make sure all of your image links are absolute.

- If you are familiar with CSS, you can merge your sites navigation directly into the header html and customize the CSS (the output is an unordered list). Use the merge field [[DomainProfileMenu]]

Adding/Changing Sports

1. Sign In to your account
2. Rollover Sports in the nav and click Add Sports
3. Click Add New under the appropriate sport section or click next to the sport you would like to remove.

Changing Your Headshot

To make a photo a headshot:

     1) Go to Home > Photos
     2) If you haven't uploaded your image yet, click 'Upload'
   3) If your image already exisits, go to the gallery it is located, then click on the Image you want
     4) Click the "Make Headshot" link below your selected image

Your headshot will now be changed.

Adding a Class to your Account

1. Sign In to your account
2. Roll over Sports at the top, click Add Sports
3. Click Add New under the appropriate Sports I compete in / Sports I do / Sports I like; or click next to the sport you would like to edit
4.Click on "edit classes" next to the sport you'd like to edit or add a class for.
5. Select your sanctioner from the drop down. This will bring up a list of classes associated with the sanctioner.
6. If your class is not listed, click the add custom class tab and enter the class you compete in.

Changing Your Display Name

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your display name, as it is tied in with your profile's unique URL.

You can change the name you have listed as your first and last name by visiting "account settings" and then selecting "contact info." Or, you can create a new account with the new display name you want.

Terminating a Contract with a Sponsor

At this time, we only offer sponsors the ability to terminate a contract with a sponsored athlete.

If you wish to break a contract with one of your sponsors, you must get in touch with your sponsor and request that they terminate your contract. We cannot do this for you.

Please be aware that a contract is legally binding. Terminating a contract is poor practice and may negatively affect future sponsorship offers.

Deleting Old Sponsorship Applications

Response time varies from sponsor to sponsor; some are highly active and will respond daily where others wait to get a number of requests before reviewing each person’s information and making decisions. If you don’t get a response from a particular company, don’t take it personally, but instead support those who do take the time to respond.

2. Click "Results".
3. Click "add new result" .
4. Fill in the information. If you'd like to highlight the result, causing it to display at the top of your results page, click the checkbox at the bottom.

At this time, only Brands are able to create blogs. Just go to Home > Blogs and click the Add Blog button. To have your existing blog pulled in dynamically contact your sales rep.

If you're a member you have access to an even better way to communicate with friends and brands - Post Update. Just go to your dashboard and start typing... it's that easy.

Comments made to profiles, photos or videos will show up unless the member/brand/ event/ place has selected to keep comments private until they can approve them.

To change your settings so that comments don’t automatically show up on your profile,go to Settings > Communication Settings

Can I add other sponsors to my profile?

3. Select "free text or html" and then enter your sponsor's name and logo in the main box. You can change the header to be any title you want to label the box, including "other sponsors" or the sponsor's name.

Go to Settings > Communication Settings uncheck the box next to “Auto Approve Comments.” The comments will still show up when you are logged into your own profile, but they will not be public until you approve them.
