Norwegian cup in Varingskollen

The norwegian cup in varingskollen is a one of the contests in evolver tour, where you can get points to qualificate to the contest of the best norwegian riders.

This weekend the norwegian cup was in Varingskollen (my home resort). The event consisted of 2 contests, one on Saturday, and one on sunday. The course was of 8 jumps, 5 rails and one wallride. You had to choose between some jumps and rails of course. Even though the speed were pretty bad because of mild weather and much wind, and the possibility to go huge at the kickers were minimal, the level of riding in my class was very high, rodeos, back to back sevens, and som nines were often did by the riders.

At saturday I qualified to 1st. place, but fucked it up in the final, and ended at 8th. A kid named Brage Braathen won with back 7 to front 7, and something sick on the rails.

At sunday I chosed the hard line which consisted of to jumps 16 and 12 meters and some rails. I qualified to 1st. place at sunday too with a front 7 tailgrab on the 16 m. jump, and a backflip on the 12 m. jump.
In the finals I made 1st. place too, with front 7 on the big jump, and back rodeo 5 at the smaller jump!

I'm really stoked to win the contest, and look forward to ride more contests throughout the winter.

My crew, Hot Dog Productions did very well in the contest, Håvard bergheim won the junior class both days, and I won the senior class last day, and Iver Repsjø, made 3rd. place last day. The whole crew made the finals both days and got some good points for the evolver tour.
