Alright, about two weeks ago I went to a state qualifier in Isanti. I didnt ride my bike the whole week before that day because I had a camp. So after that camp the next day I went to race, probably not the best idea since I didnt ride and i havent been on the track before. But well first round I was in first and going into the last turn and out of the rythym there was a little table. In the middle of the table there is a tar curb that the track people didnt smooth out. Well I manueled onto the table and nose tapped it but i hit the curb thing and it bucked me forward and I tried to roll out of it instead of hitting the ground face first but I landed right on my right shoulder. The impact seperated my collarbone that went into my throat and was pushing on great blood vesels and my sternum. I went to the Cambridge hospital and got x-rays and stuff, I was also put on oxygen because I couldnt breath. I was transfer by a Code 3 (Lights and sirens) ambulance to HCMC in minneapolis where I had surgery and stayed the next 2 days. I am out for 2 months.</span>http://www.loopd.com/members/Natehw/blog.aspx?resourceId=0ab5d90c-b8c6-4dc3-a113-9aaba204eaceSun, 02 Aug 2009 15:21:48 GMTis working on his profileis working on his profilehttp://www.loopd.com/members/Natehw/blog.aspx?euid=7bd3b09d-65d6-4828-8280-43190c4b0745Mon, 20 Oct 2008 10:41:24 GMT
