I only ran one class (250 B Stock) and finished 34th overall. After training year-round as a member at Millsap's Training Facility, along with the support of my sponsors, I improved significantly and qualified for two classes this year (250 B Stock and Modified). My moto finishes for the 250 B Stock class were 23/18/25 for a 23rd overall and in the 250B Modified class 15/27/18 for an overall of 18th. My daily regimen of on-track training with Colleen Millsaps, strength training in the gym, and cardio strengthening with distance bike rides has proven to be very worthwhile and successful. I look forward to continuing this rate of improvement by resuming my training at MTF and achieving my objective of racing on the National Supercross and Motocross level.http://www.loopd.com/members/jolls72/blog.aspx?resourceId=69b0ec91-b628-4866-9db7-ebaf281349b0Sun, 20 Aug 2006 00:00:00 GMTMarch UpdateI had a tough month in Texas getting back on the bike after my injury last year and racing in the Lake Whitney warm-up, Oak Hill warm-up, spending a week at Three Palms and then racing both Lake Whitney and Oak Hill. While I did not finish well in both events, I did have much improved lap times from last year and made a major overhaul with my suspension getting ready for the LL qualifying process. I ran very well in the first Mideast qualifying race at Balance Moto X outside Bowling Green, KY. I ran five classes and placed as follows: 125B stock - 6th (5th in LL), 125B mod 5th (4th in LL), 250B stock 1st (1st in LL), 250B mod 2nd (1st in LL), and 4-stroke 2nd (2nd in LL). My next two events will be in area qualifiers for the Northeast and North Central Regions.http://www.loopd.com/members/jolls72/blog.aspx?resourceId=9e867cf6-9764-45c1-aa4e-3ebe2a599647Sun, 09 Apr 2006 00:00:00 GMTFebruary UpdateI recently returned from an injury November 1st 2005 when I broke my hand, a few bones in my back and crushed my spleen. Luckily, I was able to save my spleen. I am now in Texas training for Lake Whitney and Oak Hill. I will then begin LL qualifying races in 3 Regions.http://www.loopd.com/members/jolls72/blog.aspx?resourceId=fe145ae0-6f59-42c5-a626-04f4a2198bd2Wed, 01 Mar 2006 00:00:00 GMT
