Jordan got both of his casts taken off today. That was a loonnngggg 6 weeks! His wrist is great but his leg still has some healing to do. He will still be needing his crutches for about another 4 weeks but with the cast off he can start doing therapy and get those muscles built up again. He was so happy to get them casts off and he can't wait to get back out there and race!

Jordan did AWESOME!!!! In his 90cc Super Mini Mod class he got first place in both motos. He also raced his 70cc in the the 70cc production class. He rode great, the quad rode great and he got 1st place in the first moto and 2nd place in the 2nd moto. WOO-HOO!!! Great job Jordan...We're so proud of you!

Todays race was the last race in the 07/08 SSQSA series. We don't have the official scores yet but I'm pretty sure Jordan will come in second, 2 points - yes, 2 points- away from 1st place overall in the super mini mod class. We'll take it!!!

So far in the first two SSQSA races of the 07/08 series we haven't had very good luck! This race in Okeechobee tops it off! On Saturday Jordan went out for his practice and his quad stalled out in the first corner of the track. He made it around the track once but stalled out about 4 times. My husband worked on it for about 8 hours and we thought we had it finally fixed for the race on Sunday. Well, when it was time for the 1st race the quad wouldn't start (had to rewire). So Jordan missed the first race. My husband worked on it again so Jordan could atleast get some points for the 2nd race. Jordan made the second race but we still had the same problems with stalling out (alot). He got 5th place (last) in that race. Dusty's Dad told us to check the fuel reeds. So when we got home that was the 1st thing checked, And sure enough that was the problem! (Thank you! saved Ken a lot of time) I really hope that in the next race up in Live Oak that Jordan just gets to RACE! And us parents get to relax and enjoy it!!!

SSQSA winter series @ Qicktrack in Lakeland, FL 11/25/07

Well, it was the first race in the winter series for the SSQSA. Talk about highs and lows for Jordan! The low is that in the first moto he got 8th place (last). He was having problems with his quad that we still haven't really figured out. His bike stalled out twice (maybe Dad didn't have the gas on reserve???). The high of the race was that in the 2nd moto he placed 1st! His bike ran great! So overall he placed 3rd. Not bad considering! Better luck next time!
