This was my second time venturing down south to test Jim Russell's F3 cars. I learned so much this trip, about how to maximize each and every lap that you drive, and the mindset that is involved in achieving this. The focus that is required to control, manipulate, and push the car to its limits is staggering; you leave the track mentally and physically drained. After three days at the track I still did not want to leave!http://www.loopd.com/members/downing91/blog.aspx?euid=a689bf7e-bba8-4f1c-9b49-9a0d074d2907Sat, 21 Nov 2009 14:46:14 GMTHey Everyone,

Just an update on my pla...Hey Everyone,

Just an update on my plans for racing in the fall. I was there driving for K&M Motorsports in the Rok Sr. class. We tested all day Saturday and raced on Sunday. This event was hosting rounds 3,4 of the Western Canadian Rok Pro series.
I qualified on Pole position for the racing. On the first race i dropped to third off the start but managed to claw my way back to second, and nearly took back #1. On the final race of the day i started second and right off the get go i was pounded off the track. I couldn't get my way back up due to a flat right rear tire.

July 27 I m flying out to Monte Tremblant for several days of F2000 Skip Barber testing. I m looking forward to getting back in a racecar, and it should be another great learning experience. The track itself used to be on the Formula 1 circuit, so it will definitly be challenging.

Thats all for now thanks for reading,
Logan D.
http://www.loopd.com/members/downing91/blog.aspx?resourceId=0e276b99-5bb5-4c02-918e-b4ad5bfa563dSun, 19 Jul 2009 20:59:02 GMTRok Cup, ReginaI'am heading to Regina this weekend for a one off racing weekend with K an M Motorsports. All in all it was a good start for the 2008 race season.
http://www.loopd.com/members/downing91/blog.aspx?resourceId=cef9b0f8-7fd7-402c-8f90-08167fc2555aMon, 21 Apr 2008 19:10:08 GMT2008 Racing Schedule April

20th - Test and Tune Regina
27th - Test and Tune Saskatoon

May

2,3,4 - Rok Cup Race Weekend #1 (Chilliwak, B.C)
10 - Testing in Saskatoon
16,17,18 - Rotax Western Race Weekend #1 (Chilliwak, B.C)
25 - Saskatoon Club Race

June

1 - Saskatoon Club Race
7,8 - Regina Club race/ Testing
14,15 - Rok Cup Race Weekend #2 (Regina, SK)
22 - Testing Saskatoon
27,28,29 - Rotax Western Race Weekend #2 (Saskatoon, SK)

July

6 - Saskatoon Club Race
20 - Saskatoon Club Race
25,26,27 - Rotax Western Race Weekend #3 (Calgary, Ab)

August

9,10 - Rok Cup Race Weekend #3 (Edmonton, ABhttp://www.loopd.com/members/downing91/blog.aspx?resourceId=c7e02b0f-9d51-4c47-8e63-9fa0d55f57b3Sun, 06 Apr 2008 16:35:16 GMTLogan Downing and Team Attack join forces for 2008
Logan Downing and Team Attack join forces for 2008

Logan Downing is joining forces with Team Attack for the 2008 race season. After a successful rookie Rotax Junior season last year, Logan will be back in 2008 competing in the Western Canadian Rotax Championship along with the Western Canadian Rok Cup. “I am looking forward to the new season of racing with Team Attack”.” I am excited to be racing will all of the best Junior drivers in Western Canada from these series and will hopefully make my mark on both classes this yr”.

Team Attack is headed up by Keith Miller a veteran racer from Regina, Sask and owner of K&M Motor sports “I look forward to having Logan on our team this yr.” “Logan brings with him a natural ability to get around a track in a hurry, and is eager to get behind the wheel of the Rok and Rotax powered CRG karts this season”.

Testing will begin in Regina and Saskatoon later this month.
