Off-Season Training
Running Blows:
The rain has started here in Northern Ca, so ride time has become very limited. So... let the Cross-Training begin.
In preparation for next season, I have today (12/13/06) started my running regimen of 12 miles a week. I will be doing this to keep up my leg and lung endurance during the slow winter months. I will still be tooling around on my bike in the street, practicing low speed balance and I also want to learn how to do "coaster wheelies" on my Downhill Bike. When the mud does dry out enough to ride on, I will be doing as many All-Mountain (up and down hill) rides as possible.
