How did you get started?

I started surfing at age 12 and was hooked, it completly changed my life and outlook. I caught on pretty quick so I started competing in high school with minimal sucess. However, this season (08/09) I overcame the mental hurtals that kept me from showing what I can really do out there and won 6 trophies this season(08/09)

What are your Goals?

Well, its allways been my dream to be a pro and make it in the magazines, and getting sponsored this year. Learning a lot about the surfing industry and being a professional has been really eye opening. Currently I have gone back to school for a career in Xray technology and am proud to be on the high honors list of 4.0 Everything is getting easier for me since I grew up a little and I think I am going to really focus on doing fins free tricks and the infamous air reverse. Most of all, I want to work on my aireals, power, and style because thats what is the most important and influencial.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

Hands down its gotta be learning how to win at contests. I love the feel of a win and if I dont compete at least once a month I start to get antzy! my other accomplishments are learning how to pull a 360 out of a floater, it looks really smooth and is fun. also airs and really thinking about what you are doing while executing a trick instead of just pulling somthing without paying attention to how I'm doing it. ..and... getting straight A's I never thought I could do it but that just shows I now have it in me to work hard and win at life.me surfing honalua bay

Currently ranked #13 out of 44 surfers in the WSA (2008-2009) Currently ranked #12 out of 27 surfers in the CSF (2008-2009)

Thank you Monster for putting me in SURFER Magazine! I am living my dream.. thank you to everyone for your suport and friendship.

thanks to my sponsors, Mentors and my newly found sucess and my participating in the WQS I am "now Considered a Pro Surfer"..

in the 2008-2009 WSA season I did 6 out of the 9 contests and ended strong in a 3rd in the championships and ranked 8th overall out of 48 surfers in the WSA! thank you to all my sponsors especially Quiver boardworks for their awsome surfboards.

in the 2008-2009 CSF season I finished with 6th in the championships after only doing 4 out of 8 contests and still ended up 7th overall for the season.
