Q&A - Personal

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport for one simple reason which is the rush i get when you learn a new trick, land a 50 footer, or foolin around jibbin in my backyard with my friends. The rush is consistant, you learn a new trick every week, and the ski hills in my area keep their Terrain Parks in good flowing condition.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I live on Manitoulin Island, have 3 sisters who are younger then me, built 3 rails and 1 massive box last year for snowboarding. I have a Forum Manual board with burton Custom bindings. Favorite thing to do besides snowboarding, is trampoline.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

To be fully honest, I want to be a professional snowboarder who lives next to a Mountain in British Columbia, Switzerl and, New Zealand, or California. But a job that I consider is being a engineer.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

My best story about a snowboarding trip is probably my worst experience. My friend Cameron Hart's family invited me to go to British Columbia with them, so I paid for my plane ticket, and the lift passes and stayed in their condo with them. The first 2 days were amazing, landed some steezy tricks, and hit some big kickers. The next day I had a migraine, I tried to get out there because its a once in a lifetime thing but I ended up puking all over the chair lift. Later that day Cam hurt his ankels from a jump, and the next day I was... lets say in the bathroom for a lot of the day. In the end, there was 4 good days of snowboarding out of the 7 possible days that we were there.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Every Monday, Wednesday, And Thursday night I take part in a group called Crossfit GP, it is a workout program that is awesome. I made sure that my first semester was very hard, and my second semester was very easy, so that from mid January to April I will not have to worry about homework as much as I do in this semester.
