The Sporting Life
I usually skip summer outdoor festivals. Too many times they seem to be overly loaded up with homespun pine knick-knacks and cutesy ceramic geese, and I really don’t have a need for either. Recently I did have the chance to visit one outdoor festival I was very interested in, though, and when the ATV Illustrated TV crew and I planned a trip to Wisconsin’s Great Outdoor Festival, it felt like we were going to Disneyland. It’s the only place I know of where you can ride new ATVs, try out duck calls, wolf down Kettle Corn, and get a new shotgun all in the same place!
