We have created 6 levels of LOOPD Eco Tribe sponsorship. It is our goal to help you become the very best skaters you can possibly become while becoming little entrepreneurs in the skateboard industry. We recognize that each skater is unique and not all skaters are at the same skill level so please treat each other respectfully – we are here to promote eco responsibility. We have created 6 levels – so you can find the level that works for you but no matter what, we want you to have fun. Each level you move up gives you a larger discount as a reward for working hard, staying positive and helping the environment; choosing a bamboo deck vs. a maple deck. Ultimately, it’s up to you…
TRIBAL SCOUT - Level 1: (Open to all skaters that sign up with us on LOOPD)
- To be a Tribal Scout you simply need to pledge to purchase a bambooSK8 manufactured deck within 30 days of signing up off of our website. If you can’t fulfill this obligation, then don’t join the Eco Tribe. Please note that our dealers are not a part of the LOOPD program so don’t bother them.
- After ordering your deck, you must take a photo with it and post it on your profile, as well as emailing us a copy to marketing@bamboosk8.com and in the subject line – put your name + LOOPD level 1 eco tribe. For example: Bob Burnquist + LOOPD level 1 eco tribe.
- Once on bamboo, you promise to skate only bamboo as long as you are sponsored. You cannot have another deck sponsor unless they use our bamboo decks with their graphics.
- Agree to always represent the bamboosk8 brand in a positive, respectful, & intelligent way. Any violation of profanity or showing disrespect – you will be dropped and banned from the LOOPD website.
- Agree to educate yourself on our business, our decks and always check in on our website and our LOOPD profile so you are aware of what we are up to. We also welcome your ideas so don’t be afraid to share with us some cool ideas on how to improve the sponsorship.
- In any videos, magazines or other promotions - you must mention that you have a LOOPD Eco Tribe BambooSK8 sponsorship. There is no such thing as a “BAMBOOSK8” sponsorship.
- You must assist with all promotions including visiting websites that we will direct you to – to vote or leave a comment or a blog, etc. We ask that you always talk positively about our decks in an intelligent way: proper use of grammar and spelling, no swearing, talk about the eco benefits, the pop, durability, etc.
- All future contacts from you must go through the loopd.com email. No emails to our website please, respectfully. Please limit your emails to us for serious inquiries only – that way we can ensure that we can get back to each of you. No need to email and say “thank you for sponsoring me” – simply leave a comment on the profile and say something positive.
- Please note that level 1 Tribal Scout sponsorship does not allow you to receive anything for free unless you enter a special contest and you win. We would love to be able to give everyone free stuff but we still have to pay the bills and hope you can understand that the best we can do is give deeper discounts with each new level you achieve. It’s up to you to earn it.
- If you later decide to end the contract, we are fine with that – just send us an email through the LOOPD website and say “cancel sponsorship”. It would also help if you explained in the email why you want to leave but we hope you don’t leave. We can’t do this without you!!

TRIBAL WARRIOR - Level 2:
What a TRIBAL SCOUT needs to do to get to Level 2…
- Complete the following activities:
- You must strive to get more profile views on LOOPD. You can achieve this via a number of ways but we suggest through either creativity or through others respecting you and your skating. Please – this is not a popularity contest so don’t email people asking them to view your profile just for the sake of getting high numbers as that’s really lame!
- You must send us an email with 10 of your friend’s names and complete email addresses. The purpose of these emails is for us to expand our database and provide discounts to your friends as well. Who doesn’t want their friends to be on the Eco Tribe?
- You must send us your best skate photo with your bamboo deck.
- Tell us who your local skate shop is, what city they are in and what their email address or phone number is.
- Enter the contests on our website at http://www.bamboosk8.com/schwag/index.php
- Send your best quote so we can put it up on the “fans” page of our website.
- Make sure we have your full name, LOOPD profile name, and what city and state you live in.
- When you have completed all of these activities, send us an email to marketing@bamboosk8.com and put in the subject line “ready for level 2”.
- Attach your best skate photo on a bambooSK8 deck
- Type in your quote
- Type your full name, username on LOOPD and what city/state you live in
- Provide your 10 friends full names and emails
- Provide your local shop name, city and contact information
- Notify us what contest you entered on our schwag page
- Write down how many profile views you have
We will notify you of your ability to move up to Level 2 within 2 weeks. If you don’t hear back from us, email us to the LOOPD email only.

TRIBAL COUNCIL MEMBER- Level 3:
What a TRIBAL WARRIOR needs to do to get to Level 3…
- Complete all activities of level 2 and get permission from us to proceed.
- You must get at least 2500 profile views on LOOPD and not by cheating and sending out fake requests to increase your profile views. You must earn this through respect; the hard earned way.
- You must convince your local shop to purchase a sample bambooSK8 deck. All we ask is that you provide them our contact information and we will provide them with all the details – you just introduce them to us and put in the good word. We will give them a special discount price for testing out a sample deck. Our goal is to have them put their graphics on our decks and sell them as local shop decks to your skateboard community where you live.
- Improve in skating…Your skating will be reviewed by us to see how well you’ve learned more tricks. Update your profile with your best videos and photos.
What a TRIBAL COUNCIL MEMBER gets…
- A special Tribal Council Member logo to put on your LOOPD profile
- You get mentioned on the LOOPD profile.
- 50% off decks(no graphic) with grip tape, 5 stickers and a mini-magazine – All for just $20! And…We will also randomly give out other goodies in the package when available.

What a TRIBAL COUNCIL MEMBER needs to do to get to Level 4…
- Must get at least 10,000 profile views on LOOPD.
- Must convince your local shop to purchase at least 50 bambooSK8 decks. (If you need help with the part, we will provide them with all the details – you just introduce them to us.)
- Your skating will be reviewed by us to see if you improved even more than your Level 4 skating.
- You must continue to fulfill all duties in prior level.
- You must be competing at the state level in at least one contest a year. Please provide us with video proof of your competition by emailing marketing@bamboosk8.com
TRIBAL CHIEF - Level 4:
What a TRIBAL CHIEF gets…
- A special Tribal Chief logo and animation banner to put on your LOOPD profile
- 60% off raw decks (no graphic) with grip tape, 5 stickers and a mini-magazine – All for just $16! And…We will also randomly give out other goodies in the package when available.
- A Tribal Chief plaque signed by our company.

To achieve this important and top Tribal Shaman level …
- You must get at least 25,000 profile views on LOOPD.
- You must place in the top 10 of at least two amateur level contest such as TampaAm or DamAm. Please send us written proof along with pictures and, or videos of the contest sent to marketing@bamboosk8.com
- Your skating will be reviewed by us to ensure your skating is still improving.
- You must continue to fulfill all duties in prior level
TRIBAL SHAMAN - Level 5:
What do you get with this level?
- A special logo and animation banner to put on your LOOPD profile showing that you are a level 5 Tribal Shaman.
- A Tribal Shaman plaque signed by our company.
- 70% off raw decks (no graphic) with grip tape – All for just $12 PLUS…stickers and a mini-magazine! And…We will also randomly give out other goodies in the package when available.

What a Tribal Shaman needs to do to get to AM/PRO Level…
- You must get at least 30,000 profile views on LOOPD.
- You must place in the top 5 of at least 10 amateur level contest such as TampaAm or DamAm. Please send us written proof along with pictures and, or videos of the contest by emailing marketing@bamboosk8.com
- Your skating will be reviewed by us to ensure your skating is still improving.
- You must continue to fulfill all duties in prior level.
FACTORY AM/PRO - Level 6:
Congratulations!!! YOU MADE IT!!! Now what do you get free with this level?
