How do I start a blog?

At this time, only Brands are able to create blogs.  Just go to Home > Blogs and click the Add Blog button.  To have your existing blog pulled in dynamically contact your sales rep.

If you're a member you have access to an even better way to communicate with friends and brands - Post Update.  Just go to your dashboard and start typing... it's that easy.

How do I auto-approve photo, video and profile comments?

How can I adjust the background of my profile?

Currently, you can only add an image as your profile background.  To do that, go to your profile, click on "Choose Theme", enter the background image url and click save.

How do I actively search for athletes or teams?

To browse for athletes and teams, click on "Members" in the top navigation.

If you are signed in to your account, you can save specific searches that you commonly perform.

Is there anyway to mass message all of our Brand Insiders and Sponsored athletes or teams?

Yes and it's called a Broadcast. Just go to Inbox > Messages and click 'Send Broadcast'. You can select the groups that you want to send to.

How do I respond to sponsorship applications?

Go to Home > Sponsorship, find the listing you would like to review applications in and click 'New' or 'New Applications'.  Click on "Application" to view and respond to an individual or select the contract you would like to send right from the list of applications.

How do I create a denial letter?

Go to Home > Sponsorship > Denial Templates and click 'Add New'.  For Sample Denial Letters - see the right column of the Help Section.

How do I add a contract?

Step 1:
Go to Sponsorship > Contract Templates and click "Add New".
Choose your Contract settings. Select the name and the start dates of the contract. 

Step 2:
Legal Contract Content, you will be asked to add your specific contract content.  Please be sure to include the Terms of the Agreement in this section as well as the Rules of the Sponsorship...etc.


Once this contract is entered and saved, you can choose to apply this to another listing by clicking on the "Select a previously uploaded contract document" option.

Step 3:

nter in your Offer Letter. This is your welcome letter to newly accepted athletes .  For Welcome Letter Samples, see the right column of the Help section.

Step 4:  
Select the discount amount you will be offering athletes with this contract.  (Note: if you have a eCommerce shop with us, keep in mind that the product template you send to us with the pricing is the base price of the product.  The discount selected here will determine the price the athlete sees).

Step 5:

Select your Sponsorship Requirements The requirements you select will be added to the contract.Once you click “save,” the contract will show up on your “contract templates” page. Note: Once a contract is sent, it may not be edited. You may, however use this template to create a new contract by clicking “edit”, changing the contract name and selecting the appropriate discount level.
To upload your contract as a PDF, go to Sponsorship > PDF Templates and click 'Add New'

How do I add a new listing?

Go to Sponsorship > Listings and click "Add New"

Step 1 - Listing Setup.  Select a team this listing will apply to. If there are no teams in the drop down, or if you wish to create a new team, click on the “Create One” link. (Note: You may name and manage the team anyway that best suits your company. Some companies create a separate team for each sport, others create by skill level or location.)

Select a Default Application Response - this will pre-populate the response drop down when you are reviewing the applications the need to select for each applicant.

Next, give your listing a name that will make it easy to identify to by yourself and potential applicants.   Specify when the dates the listing will run for if your sponsorship offer  is seasonal - if you plan to accept all year long, check the box below the End Date dropdown.

Step 2 & 3 allow you to target your listing by sport, location, age and gender.

Step 4 allows you to specify the questions athletes and teams must answer to apply.  Want to ask something specific?  Use the Custom Application Question field. You can review these answers with each application.

Good?  Click Save and you're ready to go.  A notification will be sent out to all members that match your criteria and will be posted within their accounts.  Nows the fun part - reviewing and responding to your applications.  Do that by going to Sponsorship > Listings.

Profile Building

How do I add html to my profile?

Go to your profile, click the 'Add Content' button and add the 'TEXT / HTML' module.

You can use the Text editor to create your html - and add links, images, videos or tables.  You can also click "Source" to add any HTML you want (like what you might get from a widget).

Why won’t my video upload?

To upload a video, it must be less than 100 MB and must be one of the following file types: wmv, .mpg, .asx, .mov, .mpeg, .avi, .mp4.

If you are having a problem uploading video, it will generally be the file size, a timeout issue, or a combination of the two.

On average, most computers and DSL connections will only allow you to upload a video that is 50 MB or less.

If your video is the correct size and file type and you are still having issues uploading it, please contact us Including the following information in your message:  
                -          Video File Size
                -          The browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari or Chrome)
                -          Your computer operating system (like Vista, Windows 98, etc.)

How do I add more content to my profile?

Does everybody see the comments I make to other profiles?

Comments made to profiles, photos or videos will show up unless the member/brand/ event/ place has selected to keep comments private until they can approve them.

To change your settings so that comments don’t automatically show up on your profile,go to Settings > Communication Settings

How do I change my logo?

Go to Home > Photos.   Click Upload Photo, then click "Make Headshot".  If your image already exisits - find it, click on it, then click "Make Headshot"

1. Sign In to your account
2. Rollover Sports in the nav and click Add Sports
3. Click Add New under the appropriate sport section or click next to the sport you would like to remove.

How do I Delete My Account?

Go to Settings and and click on the Cancel Account button.

After clicking on the “cancel account” button, your account will be marked for deletion, but will not actually be deleted until the following Sunday.

You may cancel the deletion at anytime before the following Sunday, by clicking on the warning message on your account homepage.

Go to your profile and click the X  in the top right hand corner of the profile module you want to delete.

Changing Your Display Name

Unfortunately, there is no way to change your display name, as it is tied in with your profile's unique URL.

You can change the name you have listed as your first and last name by visiting "account settings" and then selecting "contact info."  Or, you can create a new account with the new display name you want.
