Oliveras happy with the podium in México City

October 27, 2009. After an unexpected end at the twelfth date in the NASCAR Mexico Corona Series the last weekend in the track of "Hermanos Rodriguez",  the pilot Hugo Oliveras member of the Team Monster Energy-GM-IHOP, was able to get to the set of winners and thereby in the top ten Championship stellar category. 

 

 

Really the luck was on his side, in the race Hugo stayed stable in the middle of the group, doing spectaculars pass lap by lap, but to the finish he had his reward, because a crash between several cars allowing to Oliveras finished in the third position, adding valuable points to the driver standing, positioning itself in the top ten of the championship, with 1529 points 

 

 

“During the race we had a little problem in the car, but I could stay between the leaders and the time of the crash between Carlos Contreras, Toño Perez and Rafa Martinez, i was able to avoid them and bring forward positions, with that we were able get this valuable third place in the race. We were the less guilty and well we could get a positive result, everyone in the team is part from this result. Left two rounds Tuxtla Gutierrez and Aguascalientes, and Let’s Go to finish in the top ten of the season”. Said the pilot of the eleven car. 

 

 

Furthermore, Alberto De La Torre, Executive of Monster Energy Mexico could not conceal his joy at the outcome of the Mexico City race: “We had good luck. Hugo went well all weekend, practices and qualifications, and already in competition took the circumstances to succeed and achieve a third very important for us. "Green claw" was present and this motivates us to close the season with grand finale. So far we have won a victory, two top ten and this third site that gives us the pattern to work with everything in the straight of the serial". 

 

 

So far, the team members MonsterEnergy-GM-IHOP, are already prepared to reach Chiapas with well sharp claw to repeat a good result to keep them in the top ten Championship on the round thirteen in the great oval of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.
