Keystone G3 Goes Off!!!
I just got back from the first ever Rocky Mountain G3 race in Keystone, CO last weekend. What a sweet event! The G3 is a gravity stage race, consisting of 2 downhills and 1 super-d. Needless to say it was exhausting, but super sweet. Timing was done with electronic chips that were attached to your right foot. It was accurate and easy, and it enabled you to start pretty much whenever you wanted. No stress about getting to the top in time for you start time. I ended up taking 7th in Pro Men, which was fine because on Friday I sprained my ankle bad enought that I could barely walk that night. I thought racing was out of the picture.
