Duncan Adams is no stranger to the ski scene or to us here at Spy.

As a 16-year old from Vermont, currently living in Breckenridge, CO, he was the youngest participant to compete in last year’s Winter X Games. Last year he podiumed at the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge, taking 3rd place in the Superpipe.
“Duncan comes across as pretty shy and quiet- I think he’s come to the conclusion that he should let his skiing do all the talking, and its loudly proclaiming him as one of the most well-rounded skiers in the sport” Says Josh Berman, Spy Ski Team Manager.

What’s playing right now in the pod? Classic Rock, Reggae or Hip-hop depending on my mood - D.
“Duncan has been the only athlete I’ve ever worked with whose mother had to drop him off at shoots in the morning, and pick him up in the afternoon. He has been showing up at our spring shoots since he was 12 years old, and I think it marked a major turning point for him this past spring when he could actually drive himself. I don’t think he had actually gotten his license yet, but his mom trusted him enough to lend him the keys…”
Working hard towards another successful season, look for Duncan cruisin past you in Powder Mag, at the Dew Tours, and Winter X Games.
Buckle up, he’s a name you won’t want to miss so stick with us, and we’ll keep you in the loop!

Let me tell you a little story about how your glasses saved my right eye!
Here is the story of my Trons and what I do with them.
I have the green trons you guys made in 2008 or 07 whatever it was, they are my favorite glasses and I rock them everywhere, I’m a 19 year old San Diego native so they’re always with me from the beaches to the desert up to the snow!
Whatever I’m doin these glasses come along for the ride, and I get more compliments on them than you can imagine.
I wear them while:
With the ladies

At the beach

Eating lobster in Norfolk VA

With the blues brothers

Tearin up the mud
But on Veterans Day of 2009 I wore them shooting in the desert.

On one particular shot, I placed my face to close to the scope and the recoil of the gun sent the scope pretty much a million miles an hour into my face! Which hurt pretty damn bad, however I was wearing my Trons and they absorbed most of the blow and it was a hell of a blow at that. My forehead got busted open as you can see,

It doesn’t look big but it was pretty damn deep and I waited too long to go to the doctors so they wouldn’t stitch it, but if I hadn’t been wearing my Trons, there is a good chance the I would have seriously messed up my eyeball real bad. They stopped the scope from blasting my actual eyeball. I just wanna thank you guys!! For making such bomb ass glasses! They didn’t shatter, break or send shrapnel into my eye. I love the durability and I’m never gonna stop wearing Spys!
Only problem is my favorite glasses got scratched where the scope hit, but hey they I still like em.
I noticed this on your website and I will personally attest to your “premium quality”!

Just thought I should tell you guys what your glasses have done for me!
Thanks again for making such good quality glasses, they literally saved my eye w/o them I could be blind today!
Your glasses kick ass! (and they can withstand a recoil from a Remington 700, firing a 30-06)

Matt Harkins, Daryl Trinidad, and myself are on an adventure in Italy. We are out here for international sales meeting, so we can further our lands in Europe and across the globe. After a early flight from San Diego (6:15am to be exact) , a 4 hour lay over in JFK and the quickest flight ever to Milan, well as much as I can remember. We arrived in Varese. A amazing town about an hour outside of Milan. Between the old buildings, green pastures, and the breath taking views of the Alps, and the lakes below them. I can say it one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. We stopped by and checked out the Spy European offices, met up with Giuseppe Lapenta, our handsome marketing man out here. We took a tour of Lem, which is our factory where Spy makes all there amazing sun glasses and goggles. Check out this photos from day one of this trip. Keep checking back in, as this story is just beginning.

DC shoes held a big ride day out at Pala Raceway in Pala Ca yesterday. They had all of their mx team riders out for photo sessions and even held a road to recovery charity poker tournament later that night.
Jeremy McGrath was out for the day ripping the outdoor track and throwing down some big whips on the freestyle ramp. It really is awesome to see Jeremy still has it after all these years and can still get down on a dirt bike. Jeremy has been wearing the new Klutch goggle and loves them! Recently signed SPY team rider Tommy Searle was out ripping some laps and trying out the sweet new line of goggles. Tommy is a super cool kid from Great Britain and is stoked to be part of the SPY team. Tommy will also be wearing the new Klutch goggle. Check some of the photos I got on the day.

Hey guys!
A small update from Sweden. Got a kinda slow start but now we’re getting some stuff, fun to be on it again.
Here are some pics shot by Anders Neuman, editor of Transition Magazine in Sweden. Corner gap between two cable rolls, turned out pretty cool I think.
